Bush-Cheney '04 Launches Grassroots Action Site at GeorgeWBush.com

Bush-Cheney ’04 today unveiled its complete campaign Web site at www.GeorgeWBush.com. The site invites grassroots supporters to join the President’s team and spread his positive message. Issue-specific action centers enable supporters to easily write news editors, call talk radio shows, and email friends and family about the issues that are important to them. They can also register to vote, order an absentee ballot, and contribute to the President’s campaign.

Supporters can sign up as “Bush Team Leaders” or subscribe to email updates to receive the latest campaign news, as well as customized messages with local action alerts and issue updates.

The Web site also includes a feature designed specifically for “bloggers.” Supportive bloggers can place a unique news feed box on their Web site that instantly posts news items onto their weblog the moment GeorgeWBush.com is updated.

“This campaign will be successful if it functions as a true grassroots organization where the best ideas, wherever they are from, carry the day,” said Governor Marc Racicot, Chairman of Bush-Cheney ’04, “The Web site is a key part of that effort. GeorgeWBush.com provides one of the best ways to communicate with the President’s supporters. The site has been designed as an interactive tool that allows our grassroots supporters to stay informed and take an active role in the re-election of our President.”

Bush-Cheney ’04 is the only presidential campaign to post every donor on its Web site. GeorgeWBush.com allows visitors to search the over 105,000 individuals that have contributed to President Bush’s re-election campaign, as well as our volunteer fundraisers, or “Pioneers and Rangers.”

The site also provides voters with detailed information about President Bush’s agenda to create jobs, protect the homeland and improve education so that no child is left behind. The Web site includes regular messages from campaign leaders, starting with a welcome message from the President and Governor Marc Racicot.

Additional GeorgeWBush.com features include a photo album, calendar of events, Spanish language content, downloadable screen savers, search engine, and personal testimonials from supporters
