It all begins in Iowa!

Dear Fellow Conservative,

On Monday, June 27 I will be formally announcing my campaign for President of the United States in Waterloo, Iowa. Waterloo has a special place in my heart because it is my birthplace and where I lived until I was twelve years old.

My time in Waterloo forever cemented the importance of the salt-of-the-earth, hard working American values that made our nation great, and will guide my singular focus as President on putting America back on a path to prosperity.

On Monday at 9am I hope you will join me as we make history. From the steps of the Snowden House in Waterloo, I will launch our campaign to re-take the White House and our shared constitutional values to the government. Please follow this link to R.S.V.P. to the event.

Today, our nation faces immense challenges. As I learned, growing up in a broken home, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. That's why I've made the decision to get in this race. As a mother, wife, small-business owner and public servant, I believe I can offer the leadership and passion our Party needs to win the White House.

I look forward to seeing you on Monday morning in Waterloo. Please join me in restoring the American values you and I hold so dear - and together, we can make Barack Obama a one-term president!

Sincerely,

Michele Bachmann

Weekly Update: Together we can make history!

Dear Supporter,

I am formally announcing my campaign for President in my birthplace of Waterloo, Iowa on Monday June 27, and I hope you will join me as I embark on this journey.

Since the presidential debate in New Hampshire, I have been amazed by the outpouring of support from individuals like yourself. Your energy for my campaign continues to encourage me and I am looking forward to sharing our conservative message around the United States.

I know you understand this journey we are embarking on together will not be easy. We have a long road ahead, and many in the liberal media and Washington “elite” have begun to already attack my campaign. Their attacks however, only increase my resolve to take this country back and restore our constitutional conservative values to the government.

Your donation today will send a strong message to Washington that you stand with my campaign and believe Barack Obama should be a one-term President.

Barack Obama’s joked about “shovel-ready” plans have hurt our nation and enough is enough. We cannot sit idly by and watch Obama shovel the United States into another recession. I am not afraid to take Obama on and hold him accountable for his failed leadership and policies.

Unfortunately, campaigns are extremely expensive. It is critical in these first days that we raise the necessary funds to run an effective campaign.

As my campaign for President gets off the ground I need to know you stand with me. Please continue to show your support by making a donation and then following me on Twitter and Facebook.

I am grateful for your continued friendship, and am glad to have you by my side as we embark on this journey to the White House.

Sincerely,

Michele Bachmann
